The Glasgow Film Festival happens every year and started 9 years ago, in 2005.
This years festival took place between the 20th February til the 2nd March 2014. The festival programme was packed with different events this year and they included:
-1939: Hooray for Hollywood: A selection of old films coming back to the big screen
-Festival Club Events: Free events that provide an insight into the world of film making such as talks and master-classes
-FrightFest: A series of films and guest appearances, shown to scare the audience
-Great Scots: Showings of films that have been created by Scottish filmmakers and Scottish production companies
-Out of the Past: Past films that have been restored for your pleasure!
These are only some of the events that happen at the Glasgow Film Festival.
The festival is a significant event that takes place in Glasgow every year and I’d encourage you all to take the time to attend it next year!
